Investment in a new cable processing machine

Elpro is now taking another step to increase capacity by automating the production process. This is by investing in a brand new cable processing machine from Rittal. To this date all cables are processed manually, Elpros new machine can get ready-made coupling kits. The documentation for getting finished cables goes directly from the design program to the machine for further processing.
“Through the new investment, we can both increase efficiency and ensure quality, which together contributes to further development,” says Linus Lindgren, production manager at Elpro.
The new machine will be in place in the new plant during the first quarter of 2020.
